True American Culture
I think there is a true American culture but there's not just one. I feel that "rednecks" think they are the true American culture because they are usually so passionate about there country and because of how they act. Rednecks are stereotyped for wearing cutoff flannels or driving big trucks, chewing tobacco, and hunting, but most rednecks are family type people who love their country and love to have fun, maybe a little to much fun sometimes. There is a different side to American culture though, people in the city live totally different lives. People in the city are thought of as going out to eat or getting a night off from work to relax, they don't see how going out and mudding or shooting a deer could be relaxing but that is what makes America different. This is what makes America great because there is so many different people that like to do so many different things. American food culture is usually thought of as ball park dogs, hamburgers, and steak. America is so much more than beef and pork now because of the diverse cultures. Now we have Chinese food, Mongolian food, French food, Italian food, Mexican food, Irish whiskey, German Beer. We have so many different people that have came to America that brought there traditions like food with them that there is really no straight forward American culture there is a bunch of different American cultures that all come together. This is why there is not true American culture.
